Missouri Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

MO Real Estate License Renewal Salesperson or Broker

12 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:

  • 3 hours of Core
  • 9 hours of Electives (Core courses can also qualify as Electives)

Renewal Cycle: Every 2 years (even) by June 30 for Brokers and September 30 for Salespersons.

Inactive: No CE is required while inactive. License must be renewed and fees paid. There is no limit as to how long you can remain inactive. A 24 hours practice course is required to reactivate.

Roster Reporting Procedures for Missouri

Upon completion of all the course steps, a certificate will immediately, and always be available for printing from your account.

Continuing education credits will be transmitted electronically to the Missouri Real Estate Commission the following business day after course completion. It may take up to 10 days before you see the credits post. All continuing education hours must be completed prior to submission of your license renewal with the Commission.

In order to renew online, address and name information must be current, and continuing education courses must be on file with the Commission.
