Connecticut Real Estate CE License Renewal Requirements
Salesperson or Broker

12 hours of CE is required every EVEN year by May 31st for Salespersons, March 31st for Brokers. For the 2016-2018 cycle the CE requirement is 3-hour mandatory Fair Housing Law course (classroom only) and 9 hours of electives (can be online).


Renewal Cycle: Licenses must be renewed annually on May 31st for Salespersons and March 31st for Brokers.

Inactive: The State does not "hold" licenses. A licensee can choose to become inactive and then reinstate within two years from the expiration date by submitting a reinstatement form with all back license fees and late fees and proof of completion of Continuing Education required during the unlicensed period.

This package meets the elective requirements for real estate brokers or salespersons. This package is approved for 9.0 Elective Hours.

This renewal package contains the following 3 courses:
  1. Property Management
  2. Valuation, Marketing, and Listings
  3. Managing Conflicts with Tenants, Clients, and Employees

9 hours Brokers or Salespersons 2016-2018 Elective Package #2
This package meets the elective requirements for real estate brokers or salespersons. This package is approved for 9.0 Elective Hours.

  2. Personal Safety
  3. Doing The Right Thing - The Code
