Roster Reporting Procedures for California

Upon completion of all the course steps, a certificate will immediately, and always be available for printing from your account.

The course completion certificate contains the course approval number and completion date which will be needed during the renewal process with the Bureau of Real Estate (CalBRE). The certificate is for your files and should not be mailed to the CalBRE.

Continuing education providers are not required to submit a course roster to the CalBRE.

To renew your license, you may use the CalBRE online eLicensing or submit your renewal application 90 days prior to your license expiration date. The course certificate we provide contain the course approval number and completion date which will be needed during the renewal process with the CalBRE. Your renewal is on-time if the eLicensing transaction is completed or your application is postmarked on or before midnight of your license expiration date. If you renew on-time, Business and Professions Code Section 10156.2 permits you to continue operating under your existing license after its expiration date unless notified otherwise by the CalBRE.

45 hours Salespersons - First Time Renewal Package
This package meets the requirements for real estate salespersons who are renewing a licenses for the first time. It contains 5 mandatory topic courses: Ethics, Agency, Trust Fund Handling, Fair Housing, and Risk Management and 30 hours of Consumer Protection courses.

3 hours Management and Supervision (4023)
This course is an important brokerage tool containing information and instruction on the correct manner of supervision and management required by CalBRE. You will receive extensive coverage of broker management and supervision to fulfill the requirements set forth under B&P 10159.2 and Commissioner’s Regulations 2724, 2725, 2725.5, 2726 and 2743.

12 hours Common Mistakes (4022)
Consumer Protection. This course is designed to bring awareness to the real estate professional of the common pitfalls/mistakes that are made by many licensees. The course is practical in nature and discussion is based on introduction of the subject, case studies and examples of mistakes that are commonly made in many areas. Look for the “TIPS”, Case Studies” and “Notes” sections for discussions about pitfalls.

15 hours Structures and Disclosures (3077)
Consumer Protection.The licensee will be able to provide a professional, objective assessment of a home’s condition to help accurately establish the home's market value. The licensee will also be able to explain the disclosure obligations of the seller and summarize the environmental issues that could cause potential problems.

15 hours Mortgage Fraud and Finance (3021)
Consumer Protection. This course will provide real estate professional with an overview of mortgage fraud, a new awareness, what to look for and how it can be prevented.
