Continuing education requirements for Nebraska

Real Estate CE is a fully accredited school for real estate ce in Nebraska. Make sure to check the ce renewal requirements below when you're doing your continuing education!

Nebraska Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

NE Real Estate License Renewal Property Management

18 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:

  • 6 hours Designated Subject Matter (R)
  • 12 hours Continuing Education
NOTE: Of those 18 hours, Property Management licensees and supervisors of licensees who provide Property Management services must have 3 hours of a PM or RPM designated course.


Salesperson or Broker

18 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:

  • 6 hours Designated Subject Matter (R)
  • 12 hours Continuing Education

Teams

18 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:

  • 6 hours Designated Subject Matter (R)
  • 12 hours Continuing Education
NOTE: Those licensees who belong to a team or supervise teams must also the 1000R course every four years beginning within 180 days of joining (or forming) a team.


Renewal Cycle: Every 2 years by November 30th.

Inactive: To inactivate your license you need to submit a signed letter requesting the license be placed on inactive status to the Commission office.  Your broker will need to submit a Termination of Affiliation form.

You can remain on inactive status indefinitely as long as you continue to renew the license. However, if the license remains on inactive status for over three consecutive years, you will need to pass the licensing examination along with making up any continuing education deficiency and any other licensing requisites prior to transferring back to active status.

Roster Reporting Procedures for Nebraska

Upon completion of all the course steps, a certificate will immediately, and always be available for printing from your account.

Continuing education credits will be transmitted electronically to the Nebraska Real Estate Commission the following business day after course completion. It may take up to 10 days before you see the credits post. All continuing education hours must be completed prior to submission of your license renewal with the Commission.
