Continuing Education Requirements For Montana
Montana Real Estate License Renewal Requirements
Salesperson or Broker
12 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:
- 12 hours of continuing education
Renewal Cycle: Yearly by October 31st
Supervising Brokers: Are required to complete a 4-hour supervising broker course as part of their 12 hour CE requirement.
Late Renewal Information: You may still renew your license within 45 days by paying the applicable renewal fee and late fee. After the 45 days, your license will become Expired. You may renew an expired license within 2 years by paying the applicable renewal fee and late fees. After 2 years, your license will Terminate, and you will not be able to renew. You will then be required to re-apply for licensure, and meet all licensure requirements.
Roster Reporting Procedures for Montana
Upon completion of all the course steps, a certificate will immediately, and always be available for printing from your account.
Continuing education credits will be transmitted electronically to the Board of Realty Regulation the following business day after course completion. It may take up to 10 days before you see the credits post.
