This course is designed to provide the licensee with information about the practice of commercial and investment real estate and the market place for commercial and investment real estate. Written for the agent with little experience in commercial and investment real estate, no calculator is needed and all analysis is completed on a before tax basis. The course covers a thorough discussion of the activities conducted in commercial and investment real estate, the four major types of properties encountered; multi-family, retail, office and industrial. The course explains what drives demand for each product type. The course concludes with a case study concentrating on how a retail tenant may decide on a space to rent and the information the commercial and investment agent may be asked to provide.
This course is approved for continuing education hours for both salesperson, affiliate brokers and brokers by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission - TREC #4167.
